Muhammad Abdul Basit is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with 22+ years of professional experience in audit, assurance, governance and advisory across Pakistan and international assignments.
His career includes leading and reviewing over 700 audit and assurance engagements and over 250 donor-funded assignments. His practice leadership experience encompasses financial audits, internal audits, IT assurance, special reviews and institutional assessments.
His technical work spans IFRS 9, IFRS 15 and IFRS 16, financial reporting, internal controls, enterprise risk and AML/CFT. He has also trained more than 500 professionals, connecting technical knowledge with practical application.
